John (Matt) Morehouse has enjoyed a long career in the publishing industry. During that time, he also ran a small lending business.
A number of years ago his son and grandson joined him in expanding this sideline endeavor into a full-time business, thereby founding Morehouse Capital LLC. MC is now ideally positioned to meet your investment needs. Work with us to make your dreams come true with other people's money.
Principal
Captain John Morehouse brings a distinguished background to the firm, following a storied career as a Merchant Marine officer with the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots. He concluded his maritime tenure as Master of the APL President Kennedy.
Today, John applies that same level of leadership and precision to our mission: providing the essential capital required to bring your projects to life. With a proven track record and extensive experience in private equity lending, we are committed to your financial success.
Board Member
John holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oregon. He spent several years as a quantitative analyst at Freddie Mac and is currently with an early-stage startup. John advises Morehouse Capital on risk management and technical matters.
